Today's Assignment...
Hello Folks,
1. Please visit
http://www.blogger.com/start
and register for your own blogspot.
2. Create a new, safe login name and password, don't use sensitive passwords for this exercise!
Make sure to write down your new login and password.
You can use this new id-set at the other sites you will visit during this exercise.
Now read any "Welcome! What's This All About" statements and review the various Help and FAQ links around the site.
3. Go to "Change Settings" on your "Dashboard" page and enter all information you care to share (some fields require entry).
4. Go to "New Post" on your "Dashboard" page and create your first simple text blog entry.
5. Verify your post by entering your blog's url in a new window of your browser and loading it.
6. Answer your classmate's questions and visit your classmate's sites, come get me when the majority of you have blogs up and running. We'll review adding links, photos and video next...
